These treats were initially crafted by a pastry chef named SAYYID HUSSEIN BIN ALI BIN QADOURI AL-HASHIMI. He was the pioneer in creating this particular type of pastry in Baghdad, and it was named ”KA’AK AL-SAYYID” in recognition of his contribution.
